Description:

Join Brickworks as an Energy Analyst in Sydney, supporting energy cost management and data model development.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily gas forecasting and schedule gas deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain gas volume forecasting models.
  • Process, reconcile, and track energy invoices.
  • Reconcile, issue invoices, and track market settlement costs.
  • Develop data models for plant energy costs.
  • Build knowledge of energy markets.
  • Work with finance teams to improve reporting.
  • Resolve billing errors and finance discrepancies.
  • Support alternative fuel and renewable energy initiatives.
  • Conduct research into alternative energy solutions.
  • Provide support on regulatory submissions.

About you

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Postgraduate Degree in Engineering, Science, IT, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with financial models in Excel or business analytics tools.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
