Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in a rotational program to develop mental health competencies.
- Working in various settings such as Adult Community Mental Health Clinics and Residential Recovery Services.
- Engaging in clinical settings with Grade 2 and Senior Social Workers.
- Contributing to multidisciplinary teams and providing therapeutic interventions.
- Supporting consumers with mental illness and their families.
About You
Candidates must have:
- A Bachelor or Master of Social Work, with AASW membership eligibility.
- A current driver's license or be working towards it.
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong interest in mental health and well-being.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and learn from others.
- Commitment to consumer and family needs.
- Computer literacy.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Social Worker Grade 1 YC36 - YC41 ($68,868 - $87,989 per annum pro rata).
