What You'll Be Doing:

The purpose of the position is to provide an efficient and effective cleaning and waste services for clinical and non-clinical areas of The Sutherland Hospital by performing a range of cleaning, waste removal & linen distribution duties.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to prioritise and organise workloads.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a member of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties as outlined in the job demands and understanding of good manual handling capabilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of universal precautions and waste segregation.
- Proven ability to work varying shifts with flexible start times as may be required to provide a seven-days roster, day and evening service.
- Capable of working at heights and knowledge of cleaning procedures & equipment.
