About The Role Anglicare is looking for a Case Manager -Counsellor to provide case management, counselling and groupwork services to clients of Anglicare. Provision of service to programs will include the Family Relationships Centre and Counselling and may include Post Separation Co-operative Parenting and Group Work Programs as required. As a Case Manger-Counsellor, you will ensure service delivery is provided in a variety of settings including the community and home visits. You will provide support to the team and work collaboratively with relevant Program Managers. This is a Permanent Full-Time role based at Nowra with occasional outreach work in Bega, Moruya and Ulladulla. Responsibilities (not Limited To) Client needs are met: Conduct comprehensive client assessments, develop case goals with clients, aiming for clear and achievable outcomes, provide services such as case management, counselling, psychoeducation, and group work, both onsite and as outreach.Client Outcomes: Advocate for clients and ensure their safety, establish strong local network links for external referrals, develop strong partnerships with internal programs for effective referrals, provide short to long-term interventionsNetworking: Promote the service within the community through resources and participation in local events.Organisational/Program Accountability: Maintain client caseloads and ensure confidentiality, meet documentation and legislative requirements, contribute to workplace safety and a respectful work environment.Teamwork: Foster a positive team culture through meetings, supervision, and being a role model.Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to relevant procedures and industry standards.
