We're looking for motivated and professional weed and pest controllers with an interest in conservation to join South West regions Natural Resource and Pest Management team. As a OO4 Natural Resource and Pest Management Ranger you will be working as part of a small team traveling around South West Queensland to deliver positive outcomes for some of Queensland's diverse protected areas through the management of invasive species on protected areas.Everyone at our Department recognises the importance of a healthy environment. Rangers ensure that Queensland's national parks, state forests and reserves are protected, accessible and valued by all Queenslanders. Rangers work in partnership with local communities and other stakeholders to contribute to the land management, recreational and conservation outcomes across the protected areas.
