Disability Support Worker

Description:

We are seeking qualified Disability Support Workers to assist us with the morning and afternoon shifts.

Your primary role will be providing individual support to our NDIS participants within our SIL accommodations or out in the community providing personal care supports for our participants. The shifts are mainly easy going as most of our participants do not have a behaviour of concern or complex care needs.

Requirements:

1. A genuine willingness and ability to show compassion towards NDIS participants
2. Minimum of Certificate III in Individual support, Disability support, Aged Care, Ageing Support
3. A current driver’s licence & passport / visa
4. Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
5. Relevant, professional and industry related reference checks

The following will be viewed favourably:

1. Experience working with people with disability who may have challenging behaviours and Behaviour Support Plans
2. Ability to work on weekends

Casual hours: 37 hours per week

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: From $70,000 to $80,000

1. MILL PARK, VIC 3082: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

1. First Aid Certification
2. Working with Children Check
3. NDIS Worker Screening check
