We are seeking a Youth Support Coordinator to join our school community on a temporary full-time basis, for a period of 6 months, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role
As the Youth Support Coordinator, you will have responsibility for, but not limited to, the following:
- Build relationships with families of disengaged students to provide early intervention;
- Follow up on student wellbeing referrals for all year levels in consultation with the Guidance Officers;
- Monitor student attendance/truancy and provide early intervention through stakeholders;
- Organise and facilitate lunch time activities;
- Develop and deliver programs that support students social and emotional wellbeing across all year levels;
- Facilitate student check-ins;
- Provide in-class support;
- Present at year level assemblies;
- Refer students and families to external support agencies;
- Be a visible presence during break times by interacting with students;
- Other duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the Principal, Guidance Officer or nominated delegate.
