Our client is seeking a practical, hands-on Field Service Technician to join their growing service team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and providing excellent customer support.
About Us
In this role, you’ll be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide range of industrial cleaning equipment. You’ll work closely with your manager and regional scheduler to ensure customers are receiving timely and professional support. Every day will be different – from troubleshooting and repairs to working with new technologies and helping customers get the most out of their equipment.
Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services on industrial cleaning equipment.
• Accurately diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner.
• Keep clear records using Microsoft FS365 and follow reporting procedures.
• Communicate regularly with your manager and the scheduling team to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain your service vehicle stock and tools to a safe and professional standard.
• Support a positive customer experience and share any potential sales leads with the team.
• Foster strong working relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
Your Profile
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, or technical repair roles (e.g. industrial equipment, forklift, or cleaning equipment).
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and hands-on work.
• A current driver’s licence and a good driving record.
• Confidence working with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Great communication skills and a strong team attitude.
• Strong organisational skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Willingness to travel when needed, including occasional overnight stays.
