About the Role
The Research Support Assistant (FHMRI) provides research administration support and assistance to researchers with the submission of grants and tenders, supports the capture and maintenance of data in the University’s research management system, and communication of research activities and capabilities.
The position calls for a person with well-rounded communication and administrative skills, to enable them to:
- Produce and edit reports, presentations, and other documentation, including the maintenance of databases and web pages.

Research Development and Support (RDS) works with Flinders researchers, Colleges, Centres and Institutes, other portfolios, and external stakeholders to proactively support our research. About You
With previous experience in research administration, you are an excellent communicator who harnesses your high-level interpersonal skills to develop strong and collegial relationships with staff, colleagues and stakeholders. You have well-developed written communication, attention to detail and can autonomously and proactively conduct administrative support to assist the operations of the FHMRI team.
It is expected that applicants to this role will have completed a degree or have an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training in an administrative field. They will also possess well-developed computing skills in using office computer applications, including the Microsoft office suite, web pages and databases.
