About Us
Information Governance and Digital Enablement are a small collaborative team who work closely with all areas of Infrastructure Services Division as well as the wider department. This role will contribute to strengthening the Division's ability to meet stakeholder expectations through better understanding information governance and digital solution needs, defining the way forward and delivering identified ICT initiatives.

The Senior Program Officer supports information management services and system enhancements to drive effective and efficient management of the infrastructure portfolio ensuring all areas of our Division are well supported.
As the Senior Program Officer, you will (but not limited to):
- Support the implementation of the Information Governance and Digital Strategy with a focus on strategic initiatives relating to information management, governance, data quality and capability uplift.
- Support the establishment of foundation-level information governance frameworks and standards for the Division, in-line with corporate requirements.
- Contribute to the development of business cases and plans for information management and digital solutions.
- Coordinate with specialist resources engaged to facilitate the improvement of information initiatives and system enhancements.
- Assist with coordinating an approach to uplifting the maturity of information governance practices.
- Support the Division's governance groups on information management and digital capability requirements.
We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills necessary to deliver transformational change in a complex organisation. Your desire to embrace new challenges, and focus on identifying opportunities to improve outcomes, practices and processes will position you to succeed in this role.
Although not mandatory, prior experience in information governance and/or digital enablement is beneficial. Additional experience in data analytics, reporting, and project management is advantageous.
