- Must be available from Monday to Sunday with a 7-day rotating roster including evenings, weekend, and public holidays
- Casual rate of $ 42.54 per hour + super (Band 3)

A bit about the role
As a Function and Event Attendant, you will deliver exceptional customer service to guests and patrons at Bunjil Place. You will work across various settings, including the Function Centre, meeting rooms, bar, café, and plaza. Your responsibilities will include providing food and beverage service in a welcoming, friendly, and efficient manner, and collaborating with the team for room setups and pack downs.
Hours of operation are 7am – midnight, Monday to Sunday, however, you may be required to work outside of these hours depending on business requirements. The position is casual with fortnightly rosters and there is no guarantee of hours per week.
What you’ll deliver
- Delivering a prominent level of service at functions and events across Bunjil Place.
- Perform bar duties in various settings, including theatre, plaza, and functions.
- Service meeting rooms including delivering catering, set ups and pack downs.
- Provide excellence in customer service at Bunjil Place’s retail outlets.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant industry and/or Functions and Events experience.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
- Advanced First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Food Safety Handler Level 1 or willingness to obtain
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, Functional Assessment (Medical/physio).
