Great opportunity for ongoing work in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.
JV Recruitment are looking for multiple labourers for roles in a pre-cast yard in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.
Our client is looking to fill 10+ positions in their pre-cast yard which is an hour drive from Melbourne CBD. They are ideally looking for candidates with prior experience in concrete/pre-cast works, however relevant experience will also be considered. They offer a 6-day working week, with plenty of overtime daily and consistent weather-proof work.
If you are looking for consistent work, or you have to complete your regional work (88 days) but would like to stay living in Melbourne then this could be the perfect solution.
For the right candidates, work will be ongoing with extensive opportunities for overtime paid at overtime rates with the high majority of our candidates progressing into full time roles and careers with one of Victoria’s most reputable, long-standing concrete pre-cast manufacturers.
This role will require you to complete a medical/interview and pass a drug/alcohol test.
ON OFFER:

• $36 per hour + super + coinvest
• Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
• Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
• Guaranteed Daily and Weekend overtime
• On-going roles
• Qualifies as regional work and so the opportunity to complete your 88 days

ROLE DUTIES:

Labouring duties will include assisting the manufacturing of pre-cast concrete panels, with roles varying from basic concreting, to general site clean-up duties. Prior experience in concrete works is highly advantageous. However, there are various roles available for experienced labourers.
Key requirements needed to apply:

• White Card
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to starting the role
• Full Australian work rights
• Must be able to work well within a team environment
• 12 months construction experience is essential
• Full PPE
• Transport is essential due to the location of the yard
