Description:
A well-established organisation within a leading infrastructure and construction group is hiring a Level 1/2 Support Engineer on a part-time basis (15 hours per week) until the end of the year, with strong potential to extend for another 12 months.
This is an on-site role , and due to the location, a driver's license is required to access the site. It would suit someone already working nearby, seeking additional hours with flexibility throughout their week, or someone currently studying/on a student visa looking to gain local experience while managing other commitments. You'll be working closely with a supportive team on day-to-day BAU tasks.
Part-time contract - 15 hrs per week
Work can be structured as either:
- 2 full days per week
- 4 days at 3.5 hours per day
Start date: 2nd or 3rd week of May - the client is flexible and focused on securing the right person for the role.
Key Requirements:
- 2-3 years' hands-on experience providing desktop and technical support in fast-paced Windows environments
- Confident in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues (laptops, desktops, printers, mobiles), including imaging, setup, and replacement
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory: user account management, password resets, permissions, and group policies
- Proficient with Office 365 admin: mailbox and license management, Teams troubleshooting, and user support
- Experience supporting remote users with tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or similar
- Customer-first mindset with clear and proactive communication
- Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) and working in SLA-based environments
- Able to escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 with detailed documentation
About You:
You're a self-starter with a professional attitude, adaptable across a range of ICT areas, and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in IT or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
