The Opportunity

Western Port Manufacturing facility is looking for a Paintline Scheduler in our Supply Chain and Logistics team based in Hastings, Western Port. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products Portfolio, we have four major manufacturing sites at Western Port which operate 24 x 7 and deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to export and domestic customers.

Schedulers play a key role in our operational teams, they coordinate and support operations through the scheduling of incoming customer orders for production and distribution of our products across the state. You will be a team player who enjoys liaising with different internal teams to ensure orders delivered in full and on time. Success in this role will grow from your high attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

What Will You Do?

Partnering closely with our production and sales teams, you will support our business to ensure product is delivered on time to our valued customers. Being quick to adapt and able to juggle multiple priorities at any given time, you will be:

  • scheduling incoming customer orders for production
  • utilising our in-house systems to schedule multiple product lines in a just in time manufacturing environment
  • managing conflicting priorities and customer orders ensuring on-time delivery
  • actively seek out continuous improvement initiatives and implement to the wider team
  • working with internal teams to resolve scheduling challenges
  • building and maintaining collaborative internal relationships
