We are seeking a Chief Examination Supervisor to join Penola Catholic College and work in a fantastic environment.
As the Chief Examination Supervisor you will support the administration of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) General Achievement Test (GAT), trial and VCE examinations over an approximate four week period in October and November 2023, ensuring the fair and consistent conduct of examinations in an environment that enables students to perform at their best.
You will have the overall responsibility for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments, as set out in the VCE Examination manual, and any other instructions provided by the VCAA and the school at which they are employed.
The Chief Examination Supervisor is remunerated according to the prescribed VCAA Exam Supervision arrangements.
About You
To be successful you will have previous experience in administrative duties and be able to maintain confidentiality. Previous experience working in a large secondary College would be advantageous. You must have a valid Working With Children Check.
You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
The role for 2025 will assist the current Chief Examination Supervisor for GAT and VCE, moving forward from 2026 Chief Examination Supervisor will be responsible for all.

Pursuant to VCAA requirements, the Chief Supervisor cannot be:

Closely related to or associated with any students undertaking a VCE Unit 3 and 4 of the current.

Teaching or tutoring any student in a VCE Unit 3 and 4 study in the current year.

Closely related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching any students undertaking a VCE Units 3 and 4 study, or any school personnel engaged in organising or checking external VCE assessment materials on behalf of a school.

Currently or recently employed by Penola Catholic College in any teaching (including CRT) or administrative capacity.
The successful applicant must have a valid and current Working with Children (Employee) check. VIT registration would be an advantage.
