Role Details
We are currently seeking a Data and Information Architect to join the ICT and Information Management Directorate on a full-time ongoing basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the design and development of data and information architecture while ensuring they align with the technology strategy of DCP.
- Collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions.
- Assessing current and target states of the architecture to align with strategic or tactical objectives.
- Designing and implementing data models, data integration and data governance processes to ensure data quality, consistency and security.
- Developing and managing data dictionaries, data taxonomies and data lineage to ensure data governance and compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in leading the design, implementation and maintenance of data and information architecture.
- Knowledge of relevant ICT government, information architecture and security related standards, policies, principles and guidelines.
- Experience in leading the performance and development of a team in delivering architecture services.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience in contributing to the preparation of business cases for approval, funding and prioritisation of enterprise-wide transformation.
