FIS provides evidence-based screening, assessment and intervention services for individuals in custody and the community. We focus on areas such as violent and sexual offending, restorative justice, violent extremism and family violence.

As a Coordinator in the Support Services team, you provide a range of corporate services to FIS. Your responsibilities include overseeing the efficient delivery of administration and operational tasks, including general human resources and recruitment activities, fleet and travel coordination and equipment registers . The coordinator role oversees the administration positions ensuring the reception area is resourced and operating smoothly . You are responsible for overseeing the physical facilities and equipment of the business unit as well as encouraging and supporting accurate record-keeping practices withing FIS.

What you will do

The Coordinator, Support Services, delivers services in line with our policies and procedures. You will:

  • Have demonstrated experience providing specialist support in a high-volume administrative environment .
  • Be able to manage projects under limited direction.
  • Oversee administrative and operational work teams ensuring reception duties are prioritised and the efficient distribution of administrative tasks to the support officers.
  • Apply agreed business plans, policies and procedures to all corporate services tasks.
  • Coordinate the technical and specialist tasks in relation to the physical assets of FIS, including vehicle fleet, facilities and duress system management.
  • Provide high-level specialist corporate information and advice to the Directors and Leadership team.
  • Maintain databases and registers for resources, assets and tasks with a financial implication.
  • Provide information, support and advice regarding compliance with department records management policies and procedures.
