About the Role
Do you consider yourself energetic, enthusiastic, diplomatic and outcomes focussed? If so, this short term (12 weeks) opportunity might be the next step for you.
This is an important and exciting role, which aims to strengthen the communication and collaboration in relation to community education, education programs and service delivery across the Northeast Region.
Your key focus will not only be to coordinate and support the delivery of regional/district business plans, but also to provide expert advice in the analysis and assessment of community risks and vulnerability across diverse communities. Not only will you liaise with our main stakeholders in the field and other areas of CFA, but you will also make recommendations on improvements to programs based on program evaluation and feedback.
This role is focused on the coordination of high-quality community engagement and education across the northeastern parts of the state. Experience and qualifications in Community Engagement would be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will have access to a CFA pool car for travel and some after hours work may be required.
About You
We are seeking an open-minded individual with high levels of emotional intelligence, including empathy and self-awareness. Tertiary qualifications in social science, management or education and training are preferred but not essential. Importantly, you will bring significant project coordination capability with well-developed analytical skills, advanced written and verbal communication, and the ability to build strong working relationships. Experience working in rural communities will be highly advantageous. Further requirements include excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to lead, mentor and develop casual and volunteer members.
