Description:
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for fast-paced distribution, team development, and operational excellence? We’re looking for a dynamic Inbound Manager to oversee our Inbound department to drive efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across critical supply chain functions.
Reporting to the DC Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations and performance of Receives, Put-away, Space Planning, Pullbacks, and Returns. You’ll lead a team of associates, team leads, and administrative staff, working closely with internal stakeholders such as Merchandise, Vendors, and Logistics to ensure timely and accurate product flow through the business.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a balance of strategic thinking and day-to-day operational oversight.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all Inbound operations ensuring timely and accurate receiving, put-away, returns, and space planning processes.
- Supervise a team of 30+ team members, including Team Leads and Associates.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the department.
- Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions to resolve operational challenges.
- Collaborate with Merchandise, Vendors, and Logistics teams to improve vendor compliance, quality control, and scheduling.
- Support international and domestic demand planning and delivery coordination.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development opportunities to staff to encourage personal growth and performance.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training for new team members.
- Manage payroll accuracy relating to timesheets and oversee reporting on daily Inbound activities.
- Champion communication and teamwork between cross-functional departments.
- Promote and maintain compliance with all safety and operational standards.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Proven leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain management - experience in e-commerce desirable but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive and hands-on management style.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement process improvements.
- Experience in leading teams, setting goals, and driving results.
- Familiarity with vendor relations, compliance practices, and logistics coordination is a plus.
