About the Role
Barkly Regional Council is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and culturally aware Community Care Team Leader to oversee the delivery of Aged Care and Disability Support Services in Ampilatwatja. This role supports service delivery under the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program (NATSIFACP) and the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
The Essentials
- Proven leadership and motivation skills with the ability to work with aged, disability and community groups.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Aged Care or Disability Programs
- Meal Preparation Training
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- Current National Criminal History Check.
- Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card – Northern Territory).

The Finer Details
- Full-Time position paying Level 7 Pay Point 1 of the Barkly Regional Council Enterprise Agreement 2023.
- Annual Salary of $80,057.24 per annum ($3,079.12 gross per fortnight).
- Remote Community Zone Allowance of $2.51 per ordinary hour.
- 11.5% Superannuation.
- Annual Leave of 6 weeks paid with 17.5% Leave Loading.

Barkly Regional Council requires that all applicants have a National Criminal History Check. You will be required to provide a recent National Criminal History Check prior to any offer of employment.
Barkly Regional Council requires the applicant to be able to produce or be able to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card - Northern Territory) prior to commencement.
