Salary range: $40.16 per hour, inclusive of 20% casual loading + 13% superannuation.

About the role
We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Learn to Swim Instructors to join the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre, to assist with the delivery of our swim programs to clients. Whether you are experienced or new to this industry, if you are hard-working and love the pool, then we want you!
Role accountabilities include:
- Conducting high quality classes in accordance with the DKHAC Aquatic Program practices and procedures.
- Ensuring classes are prepared for, both administratively and in practice.
- Ensuring aquatic equipment is maintained in good working order.
- Delivering professional and responsive communication to customer enquiries.

About you
We are looking for casual people to join our team who fulfil the below criteria:
- You are energetic and confident.
- You are passionate about learn to swim.
- You are customer focused and committed to helping members reach their potential.
- You have an enthusiastic approach, willingness to learn and seek innovative solutions when faced with challenges.
Relevant Industry Qualifications are essential for this role. Qualifications required include:
- Current Swimming and Water Safety Teacher.
- Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP).
- Current CPR Certificate.
Whilst experience is preferred, we welcome applications from people who love working with kids in a fun, team-based environment and who are ready to seek new knowledge.
We would ideally love it if you were available for up to 7 days to cover our existing learn to swim classes, however, also understand that sometimes life just happens. Our ideal candidate will be flexible, and we would also work with you for when you need your days off.
