Join a well-established, independent pharmacy located around 30km south-east of Melbourne's CBD. This pharmacy sits right next door to a busy medical centre in a family-friendly suburb and enjoys a loyal customer base. With a focus on patient care and professional services, this pharmacy is known for its personable approach and its growing reputation in the practitioner product space-particularly Bioceuticals-as well as medicinal cannabis dispensing.
This Dispensary Manager role is best suited to an experienced and upbeat pharmacist who enjoys building rapport with both patients and the pharmacy team. You'll be working with a great crew, including 2 pharmacists and 3 pharmacy assistants.
The role involves not only typical dispensary duties using Fred Dispense+ but also delivering professional services and managing the unique aspects of the growing medicinal cannabis component of the business (around 3% of total scripts). You'll be well-supported in this space with a consultant cannabis pharmacist onsite two days per week.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a generally registered registered Pharmacist in Australia.
- Comfortable dispensing medicinal cannabis with attention to documentation and compliance.
- Personable, professional and motivated with excellent communication skills.
- Strong team player with a patient-centric focus.
- Hourly rate starting from $50/hr, negotiable based on experience.
- Biannual performance reviews.
