Your opportunity
As a Linesperson located at Mount Isa , you’ll build on your highly practiced electrical skills to ensure the integrity of our LV and HV overhead powerlines and underground infrastructure for our communities.

The remuneration for your new role is from $113k + 14.75% superannuation + applicable allowances.

Location Incentives:
- Non-Urban Zone Allowance - up to $16,297 per annum.
- Housing Allowance - up to $20,800 per annum.
- Locality Allowance - up to $2,251 per annum.
- Additional Annual Leave - up to 4 days per annum to assist with travel to & from holiday destinations.
- Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments - $10,000 after 2 years and $15,000 at 5, 10 ,15 & 20 year milestones.
Plus, when you decide it’s time for a well-earned break, we’ll give you an additional 4 days of annual leave per year to assist with travel to and from your chosen holiday destinations.
What you’ll bring
- A Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certification as an Electrical Linesperson
- Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of an electrical network.
- Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship or an Australian permanent residency.
We’d also love you to have:
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers. You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs
- Availability for call out and emergency work
- Willingness to travel to surrounding area from time to time to undertake work
