The Protective Security team plays a pivotal role in supporting the CDPP's operations and strategic objectives, ensuring the safety and functionality of our facilities and personnel security.

In addition to meeting the Integrated Leadership System profile of the APS Level 4, primary outcomes and accountabilities of the role will include:
- Deliver security vetting functions including liaising with the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA), pre-employment screening activities and registering new candidates using internal databases;
- Liaise with external stakeholders (security & facility) as required to coordinate routine maintenance inspections;
- Monitor local security alarm activity and escort visiting contractors;
- Process Security and Facility invoices as required;
- Manage the Personnel Security email inbox and provide support for the Facilities team inbox;
- Provide assistance where required for local records management i.e. archiving/disposal/retrieval of files;
- Assist with administrative functions as directed by the Manager of Property and Security;
- Generalised duties of a Security nature to assist the Agency Security Advisor (ASA); and
- Assist with coordinating a response to any out-of-hours alarms for the local office.
