Description:
The role of the Procurement Officer is to support the Procurement Manager, CFO and Finance in providing advice and support across the branch for procurement activities.The key duties of the position include
- Provide advice and support to IHACPA staff regarding procurement activities, in accordance with the Australian Government's procurement policy framework and IHACPA's Accountability Instructions
- Provide procurement and/or probity advice in support of the development of requests for quotes and contracts
- Undertake regulatory reporting
- Develop and update procurement templates, policies and guidance as required
- Participate in Quote and/or Tender Evaluation Committees as needed
- Assist with financial duties as required
- Assist in preparing monthly finance reports
- As required, provide Probity Advice on procurement
- Provide training and support in SAP ESS.
