About the Agency
The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) is the lead agency for the Government's policy on sport and active recreation. ORSR is responsible for State Government policy and legislation as it relates to the sector, its key programs, sport and recreation infrastructure and funding programs. The ORSR supports sport and recreation organisations, Councils and the community through the development of policy, programs and resources, the provision of funding, recreation and sport planning, infrastructure development, elite sport pathways and programs, and the promotion of physical activity.

Role Details
The Physical Preparation Coach is responsible for supporting the SASI Physical Preparation Unit to deliver world class technical expertise in strength and conditioning to South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) athletes. This position will be responsible for designing implementing and delivering strength and conditioning programs to SASI athletes to effectively optimise the achievement of performance outcomes as a member of an integrated inter-disciplinary performance team.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Work outside normal office hours and intra and interstate travel is required.
- This role requires a working with children check.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Exercise, Health, Sport Science or related field.
- ASCA Professional Level 2 Accreditation.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the provision and application of strength and conditioning services to elite athletes and/or high-performance programs.
- Sport Integrity Australia (previously ASADA L2) or willingness to complete.
- Current First Aid and resuscitation certificate or willingness to complete.
- A current SA driver's license and a willingness to drive.

$68,478 - $83,594 p.a.
