What you will be doingReporting directly to Coordinator, Interstate/Overseas Voting & Enforcement Services, this role will be responsible for:
* Planning, setting up and supporting early voting at multiple interstate and overseas venues for major election events
* Providing subject matter expertise to interstate and overseas venues during election periods
* Supporting the wider team with activities surrounding the enforcement of compulsory voting
* Supporting the Coordinator with the supervision election casual staff and ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
What you will bring to the role
* Demonstrated ability in resolving issues through following policy or process guidelines and contributing to improvement initiatives.
* Project management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
* Proven experience in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong written and verbal communications skill with experience in developing effective procedural documentation and reports.
* Commitment to the VEC's core values
