SENIOR CONNECTIONS STRATEGIST
PROJECT BACKGROUND:
We are working on a complex, multi market campaign for a B2B Generative AI client. The ambition for the campaign goes far beyond paid media, creative evergreen assets in clients owned channels as well as building an earned foundation for the client to build on in the future.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Build insightful connections strategies : You can develop relevant Connections strategies to help creative ideas come to life in innovative ways (paid, owned and earned). You can co-create inspiring briefs for our creative teams and also work collaboratively with Client internal teams to create and deliver owned opportunities.
- Guide creative and media : You provide channel and platform-specific best practices and best-in-class examples for creative inspiration. You identify key communication tasks and recommend the best tactics, touchpoints and set of creative deliverables to fulfill them. You consult on prioritisation of assets and collaborate with media partners to ensure consistency across media plans.
- Provide POVs in a quick, efficient manner : You are not intimidated by developing time-sensitive POVs on innovations, media and marketing tactics, collaborating with cross-functional teams and partner agencies when necessary.
- Distil information into key themes and takeaways : You are comfortable using 3rd party research tools and able to refine complex information and data into key takeaways and/or compelling hypotheses. You can prepare and give presentations on findings & recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively contribute and bring your voice to the table : You will work closest with both brand strategists and creative teams, bringing media thinking into our strategies, while also inspiring creative teams across multiple stages of the creative process. You will be leading and contributing to the development of creative ideas powered by connections. You are unafraid to voice your opinions and raise a hand if you anticipate any issues.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in communications/connections planning at a creative, media or full-service agency. You will ideally understand and thrive within the creative process.
- Ability to own and lead internal and external workshops and brainstorms.
- Ability to collaborate within an agency village structure, with multiple agencies, publishers, and across client internal departments.
- Ability to independently utilise research tools including GWI, Nielsen, Roy Morgan
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and written communication skills. Ability to write clear POV's, client-ready communication, and presentations.
- Strong understanding of Paid Channels. You are articulate in all Paid Channels, including Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic, Partnerships, SEO, and Traditional Channels. Experience with Performance or Acquisition Marketing a plus.
- Ability to develop strategic thinking and multi-channel ecosystem mapping across Paid, Owned and Earned media.
- An advertising, marketing, media and creative enthusiast with a passion for culture, technologies and data.
