About the role
Deco Kitchens, a leading provider of custom-designed kitchens and home interiors, is seeking a talented Joinery Designer/Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Burton, SA 5110. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to utilize your design expertise and collaborate with clients to transform their living spaces.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborating closely with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
- Producing detailed design plans and technical drawings for bespoke kitchen and interior joinery solutions for production
- Selecting and specifying high-quality materials, finishes, and fixtures to bring client visions to life
- Ensuring designs adhere to relevant building codes, safety standards, and spatial constraints
- Managing projects from initial concept through to final installation
- Providing exceptional customer service and guiding clients throughout the design process
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, innovations, and best practices in interior design
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in Interior Design, Joinery Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar design role.
- Strong proficiency in cabinet maker software such as Mozaik Software is MUST.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is plus.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
- Keen eye for detail and a flair for creating visually stunning, functional designs.
