Our Client Aircon World PTY LTD T/A Airomania is currently looking for a Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to work with them at various sites in and around Sydney.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary : AUD 74,000 to AUD 85,000 depending on your experience

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installing, commissioning, and maintaining a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems (including split systems, multi-split systems, ducted systems, and commercial refrigeration units).
2. Diagnosing and repairing faults in air conditioning and refrigeration systems and components.
3. Performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
4. Handling refrigerants safely and in accordance with Australian regulations and standards.
5. Reading and interpreting plans, blueprints, and technical manuals.
6. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
7. Providing excellent customer service and clear communication to clients.
8. Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
9. Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent).
2. Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
3. Proven 1 year Full time experience in installing, servicing, and repairing a range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
4. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
5. Thorough understanding of WHS (Work Health and Safety) regulations and a commitment to safe work practices.
6. Ability to work at heights and in various site conditions.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.

1. Competitive Salary: A salary package in the range of $75,000 - $85,000 per annum (plus superannuation), commensurate with experience and qualifications. Hourly rates may also be considered.
