You will be working on the Ground Transport Consolidation Project (GTCP) - a transformative infrastructure project designed to improve transport access, safety, and long-term connectivity. Located at Perth Airport's Terminal 1, the GTCP involves the construction of a six-level multi-storey car park, a multi-modal transport interchange, and significant road and pedestrian reconfigurations - all delivered in a live, operational environment.
This high-profile project offers a unique opportunity to be part of a technically challenging build with national significance.
The Role: Traffic Supervisor
The GTCP team is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Traffic Supervisor to join our delivery team. This role requires a hands-on supervisor who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about maintaining high safety and quality standards.
What to Expect in This Role:
* Lead daily pre-starts and toolbox talks, ensuring safety and compliance across all traffic activities.
* Supervise all on-site traffic management operations, including subcontractors and direct implementation of smaller Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS).
* Monitor and modify TGS in real-time, based on site and traffic conditions.
* Liaise with the client representative for traffic plan activations, daily notifications (PAN numbers), and incident reporting.
* Ensure all traffic-related paperwork, permits, and TGS documents are prepared, printed, and on hand prior to works.
* Conduct or delegate site checks, ensuring hazards are addressed and compliance is maintained.
* Escort and coordinate plant and vehicle movements across the site.
* Perform hands-on tasks including signage installation/removal, line marking, and traffic-related maintenance as required.
* Report site incidents or traffic management concerns promptly.
* Conduct breath testing and fitness-for-work checks prior to shift commencement.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a Traffic Supervisor or Leading Hand role within civil or infrastructure environments.
* Traffic Management Accreditation.
* White Card and current WA Driver's Licence.
* Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach to site safety and traffic flow.
* Ability to lead a team, communicate clearly, and manage multiple traffic operations simultaneously.
* Experience working in live traffic environments or highly regulated sites will be highly regarded.
What We Can Offer:
* A supportive and inclusive workplace where safety and teamwork come first.
* Opportunity to work on a high-profile project in a critical transport hub.
* Access to competitive salary packaging and Georgiou Perks discount platform.
* Ongoing development and mentoring from industry leaders.
