About the Opportunity
This newly created position focuses on the continued growth and development of our client’s brand, business and team. Following the completion of long-term strategic planning sessions with the Global Leadership Team, our client is driven to achieve operational and commercial excellence in existing markets, whilst looking to the horizons and expanding across Australasia.
Partnering with the Global CEO and Global Leadership team, you will lead, direct, and oversee growth and performance across the Australasian region whilst directly managing the Sales, Sales Operations and Logistics teams. In addition to providing key leadership support and guidance to the team, you will play a pivotal role in the company’s strategic growth and will ensure alignment to the vision, mission and cultural principles of this thriving BCorp Certified business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the lead face of the business to engage, connect and network with the industry, our customers and key influencers across Australasia.
- Drive the financial performance of the Australasian region, ensuring sales targets, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, collaborating with the Director of Global Operations and Global Head of Finance/AU Finance to ensure financial objectives align with global strategic plans.
- Collaborate with the Global CEO to define and execute the regional strategic plan.
- Develop and implement business plans that drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and brand awareness in the region.
- Lead market expansion initiatives, assessing risks, opportunities, and operational requirements.
- Optimise business models, processes, and structures to enhance efficiency and performance, working back with global teams and requirements.
- Bring experience and a valued relevant network to help unlock target growth markets in Australia and New Zealand, but also into Japan, Singapore and Asia more broadly.
- Partner with the AU Marketing Manager and Head of Global E-Commerce to drive brand engagement, client acquisition, and customer experience across trade and consumer channels.
- Oversee sales, sales support and logistics processes, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and customer satisfaction, ultimately managing the AU/Australasian 3PL and warehouse.

About You

Some of the key capabilities and experience we will be looking for are below:
- Proven experience in a Regional or General Manager, or Executive Leadership role within a high-growth organisation. Prior experience in senior Sales and/or Marketing positions would be highly advantageous.
- Ideally, you will have experience in growing a brand and expanding into new markets across Asia.
- Experience in Architectural Design, Consumer Goods, Retail, or Furniture/Homewares industries is essential.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a track record of delivering revenue growth and operational efficiencies.
- Proven track record for identifying, setting and achieving short- and long-term goals and business objectives at an individual, team and group level.
- Demonstrated experience leading geographically dispersed teams, with an appreciation of cultural nuances and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable business plans and execute with excellence.
- Inspirational, supportive and proactive leader with excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commitment to sustainability, ethical business practices, and purpose-driven leadership.
- Creative, “bigger picture” thinker with a natural problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to foster innovation, drive change, and continuously improve business performance.
