About the Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will act as a trusted partner across departments, supporting HR processes from onboarding to offboarding, driving employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring best practice in employee relations. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is confident in their ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Maintain HR data and employee records with a focus on compliance and accuracy
- Lead performance management
- Support and advise on HR policies, performance management, and disciplinary processes
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, and professional development initiatives
- Contribute to investigations, grievance handling, and employee wellbeing support (including EAP coordination)
- Collaborate with the Health & Safety team on injury claims and compliance
- Deliver training sessions and support succession planning strategies
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
Working Hours: 7am – 3:30pm Mon - Fri
A successful candidate will have
- 3+ Years experience in a similar industry (Marine, Construction, Automation, Warehouse, Manufacturing)
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and industrial relations legislation
- In depth understanding in the training and development of staff
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer literacy skills
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and integrity
- Passion for driving positive change and building trust across teams
- A detail-oriented, solution-focused mindset
