About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to provide high-level clinical expertise in a consultation liaison model of service between MNMH-RBWH, the Queensland Police Service (QPS) and the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Utilise high-level knowledge and clinical skills in mental health with the ability to develop and maintain partnerships with QPS and QAS to achieve positive outcomes for consumers, families, service providers and the wider community.
  • Collaborate with others in the provision of policy advice on issues relating to professional and clinical practice, education and research relating to area of expertise.
  • Provide education and support to MNMH-RBWH clinicians in their formulation of Acute Management Plans (AMPs) and Police and Ambulance Interventions Plans (PaAIPs).
