Who are we looking for?

We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Improvement Administration Officer who is passionate about ensuring data quality and integrity.

In this role, you'll be responsible for evaluating current systems and implementing changes to improve process efficiencies. You'll also maintain tenant and property files, ensuring everything is accurate and up-to-date.

You'll need to be highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a keen attention to detail and your ability to coordinate and prepare reports will be crucial in assisting with compliance and reporting.

Experience in evaluating and improving systems and processes will be highly valued as it will help us enhance our operational efficiency.

Your technical skills including proficiency in using office software especially spreadsheets and reporting tools will be essential. These skills will ensure our data is accurate and up-to-date, ultimately supporting our mission to make a positive impact in the community.

What can you expect to be doing?

As our Business Improvement Administration Officer, you'll:

  • Provide professional administrative support to the Business Improvement team, ensuring smooth operations within Housing Operations.
  • Complete administration tasks in line with funding bodies, regulations, compliance, and program requirements.
  • Evaluate current systems and design and implement changes to improve process efficiencies.
  • Support the maintenance of tenant and property files and records.
  • Coordinate and prepare reports and spreadsheets to assist in compliance and reporting, working collaboratively with Housing Operations.
  • Identify and report data discrepancies, ensuring data is maintained according to policies and procedures.
  • Monitor data integrity impacts and present improvements, cleansing the tenancy management system as required.
  • Create written records detailing how tasks and procedures have been completed, and report system improvements needed for accurate data collection.

What do you need to bring?

  • Certificate 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the Community Housing or Private Rental sector (highly desirable).
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality and accurate administrative tasks, including record keeping and file management.
  • Effective time management skills with strong prioritisation, organisation and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including databases, MS Office (Word, Excel), internet, and Outlook.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
