General Labourer

Description:

StaffCo has partnered with one of Australia’s social enterprise companies to redirect items away from landfill and is currently seeking to employ general labourers in Sydney CDB and South West Sydney.

These roles are across Monday to Friday (no weekend work) for shifts commencing from 6am/7am.

About The Role

• Disassembling office furniture
• Disassembling hotel furniture
• Loading and unloading trucks of furniture
• Stacking and relocating furniture
• Putaway of furniture in a warehouse
• Assisting truck drivers with delivery
• Some driving of small 3.5 tonne trucks in CBD if licenced
  
  

To be successful for the role you will require the below:

• Own transport and licence as you will need to go to different job sites
• Construction white card - MANDATORY
• EWP Ticket - Advantageous
• Ability to use cordless drills, tools
• Ability to assemble and diassemble flat pack furniture
• Be physically fit and capable to stand for long periods of time
• Physically fit for repetitive heavy lifting and furniture removal work
• Must be able to complete site inductions for various sites
• Must have own steel capped boots and PPE
