Scaffold Supervisor

Davies Stewart is excited to partner with a well respected South Australian company in the construction field to recruit a Scaffold Supervisor.
This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your leadership skills in a dynamic and safety-focused environment. You will oversee scaffolding operations, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards while effectively managing resources and personnel.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality service delivery, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving performance excellence on-site within your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Excellent working knowledge of workplace health and safety
• Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills
• Coordination in the resolution of problems relating to design, material or management system for the discipline activities assigned
• Plan, monitor and complete work packs
• Manage the preparation and delivery of all safety related documentation and ensure this is in place before work starts.
• Ensure the implementation and adherence of management systems and plans including quality, environmental and safety.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Stakeholders to ensure site requirements are met
• Scope and quote for additional site works Assist in the development, measurement and achievement of objectives and targets in relation to Quality, WHS and Environmental practices.
• Manage subcontractors in terms of work scope, variations and other contractual obligations
• The day-to-day management and deployment of allocated plant and equipment.
• Ensures work is carried out and inspected as per the specified requirements
• Resolve day to day on site coordination related issues with the site teams.
• Review performance to identify any inefficiencies or inconsistencies.

Skills & Experience:

• 5 years' demonstrated experience in a similar Scaffold Supervisor role within Construction
• Hold a High-Risk Work License - Advanced Scaffolding
• Hold a Nationally Accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Access and email.
