We are an Australian-owned and operated Steel Manufacturing business located in Tullamarine.
Colorspan specialises in the manufacture of metal roofing products and architectural cladding systems for the residential and commercial building sector.
Due to continued growth and business expansion, we are looking for experienced multi-skilled Machine and Production Operators to join our team. Working out of our Tullamarine manufacturing facility, you will be a key part of our Sheet Metal Manufacturing Production Team.
This role is 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday . Overtime Optional .
Various Shift Options Available: Day, Afternoon and Night Shifts.
Position open to all levels of experience.
Full Time, Part Time or Casual positions available based on experience and demonstrated skill level.
The successful candidate will be offered extensive on-the-job training .
Key Responsibilities:
- Order planning and assessment
- Machine Operation - Slit and fold sheet metal products
- Manufacture custom Sheet Metal products using specialised equipment
- Picking, Packing & Wrapping orders ready for dispatch
- General duties
About You:
- Motivated, energetic team player who is willing to learn & work with others
- Forklift License and experience ( advantage )
- Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks
- Good communication skills
- Quality & process driven with attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret numbers and drawings
