About the Opportunity

NSW Health Pathology – Gosford is currently seeking multiple enthusiastic Administration Officers to join our Microbiology and Haematology departments. There are permanent part-time roles, offering 16 and 20 hours per week respectively and a temporary Full-Time role available.

What you'll be doing
The Administration Officer provides effective administrative and office support services for the Microbiology and Haematology departments, whilst ensuring all tasks undertaken are managed in a timely manner.

- Proven computer literacy, including a high level of keyboard proficiency with both speed and accuracy including the use of digital transcription equipment .
- Proven ability to effectively liaise with medical professionals, including consultants and registrars, or individuals in comparable roles.
- Demonstrated initiative and capability to work both collaboratively within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated strong customer service orientation with a consistent commitment to delivering high-quality service, including the management of patient enquiries and the coordination of appointment scheduling.
- Experience in administrative office procedures and a solid understanding of medical terminology.
