Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced retail leader to join our team as the new National Retail Manager.
In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our retail strategy, primarily in our company owned stores. You will be responsible for leading high-performing teams, optimizing customer experiences, and ensuring operational efficiency. Your expertise in retail management, combined with strong financial acumen and a strategic mindset will be key to achieving business goals and growing our brand of the future.
Core responsibilities include:
- Spearheading the implementation of our retail strategy, ensuring it aligns with overarching business goals and reinforces our brand identity
- Build, guide, and nurture high-performing retail teams, cultivating a culture focused on excellence and exceptional customer experiences
- Manage retail operations, including staffing, inventory control, and full P&L responsibility for our 12 company owned stores
- Execute in-store activations, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives to boost sales and loyalty.
- Leverage data-driven insights to improve performance, refine the customer journey, and increase profitability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing, merchandising planning, and store teams to ensure cohesive execution and growth.
- Be part of growth initiatives, ensuring operational readiness for optimal performance
The successful applicant will have:
- Substantial experience (5+ years) in a senior multi-site retail management role, preferably within the consumer products or lifestyle retail sector
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating multi-site retail teams to achieve sales and operational targets
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing successful retail strategies, including marketing, merchandising, and customer experience initiatives
- Tertiary qualification in Retail Management, Business, or a related field desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed, data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities for growth
- Results-focused, holding oneself to a high standard of excellence
