The Role
Location: Port Macquarie
Hours: Temporary Part time, 22.8 hours a week (12 months)
Salary: $37.35 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging
A Wellbeing Coach supports customers experiencing mental health challenges at a low intensity level. Intensity Mental Health (LIMH). This role operates within a consortium group who provides a wide-range of primary health services in Port Macquarie.
As a Wellbeing Coach, you will support the team members with case-loads, back-filling and share knowledge and expertise to achieve outstanding outcomes for the people we support and community. You will deliver Low Intensity Mental Health (LIMH) programs based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and maintain up-to-date knowledge to continue to iterate and evolve service design and delivery. You will be motivated to succeed with a proven track record in meeting KPIs and displaying a resilient attitude. Additionally, you will provide care services within a Trauma-Informed framework. As a Wellbeing Coach, you will develop and strengthen interpersonal relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
- Certificate 4 in Mental Health or equivalent
- Experience in providing mental health support.
- Computer and digital technology literacy
- High level of dependability, integrity, and the ability to manage professional boundaries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent administration skills and ability to maintain thorough case notes.
- Satisfactory background checks including Police Checks (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with low intensity Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
- Current driver licence (minimum P2)
