Chisholm is seeking an experienced Salon and Spa Manager for our Hair Beauty and Makeup Team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position focuses on excellence in customer service and the incumbent is a key and active participant of the Hair, Beauty and Makeup business area. They work to promote professional service excellence, business growth, and client-centred services for the Hair, Beauty, and Makeup Team, which includes working collaboratively with learners as part of their training experience.

As a Salon and Spa Manager your key responsibilities include:

  • Supervise customer experience ensuring clients are serviced satisfactorily.
  • Follow up all enquiries from staff, students and clients of the salons and spa.
  • Train staff and students to improve customer experience and revenues.
  • Monitor the hygiene and cleanliness of the salons and spa.
  • Execute the safety standards and legal regulations in the salons and spa
  • Monitor salon budget

ABOUT YOU

You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in management and leadership, customer service, verbal and written communication, and time management.

Qualifications required for the role:

  • Relevant Degree and relevant experience; or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience
  • Vocational currency as demonstrated through a range of work and related experience
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with salon/ office software
  • Extensive knowledge of the salon/ spa industry
