Your New Practice
Join a vibrant team of psychologists in the scenic North and Northwest of Tasmania.

  1. Contractor (Room Rental Agreement):
  • As a contractor, you can operate independently within our practice and benefit from a room rental agreement that allows you to manage your client base whilst still receiving professional administrative support.
  • There is an attractive remuneration split on offer; depending on your registration, you can expect to earn between $140 - $170 per session.

Your Profile:
You will have the following:
  • Registered with AHPRA as a psychologist (or due for registration in the next three months);
  • Eligibility to obtain a Medicare provider number;
  • A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and a National Criminal Record Check clearance certificate, or the willingness to obtain these documents;
  • Professional indemnity insurance or willing to obtain it.
Skills and values like:
  • Aligning with our values and community care - you have a passion for psychology and a genuine desire to make a positive impact;
  • Deliver therapeutic services, including counselling and assessments, to clients across various referral pathways using evidence-based practices;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referring parties;
  • Uphold legal and ethical standards, engage in ongoing learning and development;
  • Work autonomously, with supervision and guidance available from our experienced director;
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills;
  • A warm, non-judgmental and client-focused approach to therapy.
Desirable Skills and experience but not essential:
  • Experienced in EMDR therapy, Schema Therapy and any parts-based therapy, i.e. IFS, Ego State Work;
  • Knowledge and experience in the treatment of PTSD and cPTSD
  • Eating Disorders;
  • Assessment of neurodevelopmental presentations;
  • Worker’s compensation presentations.
