Description:

Join Fresh Produce Group as a Junior Account Manager, coordinating major retail accounts and driving business development.

Your role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating day-to-day management of a major retail customer account.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely action and communication.
  • Learning the fundamentals of trading fresh produce domestically and internationally.
  • Understanding key metrics of leading a large company account.
  • Interpreting marketing insights metrics.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of stock volumes, pricing, quality, and customer information.
  • Identifying and executing new business development opportunities.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for FPG with the customer.
  • Assisting and supporting FPG teams in their functions.
  • Serving as an effective conduit between the customer and wider FPG team, including marketing, logistics, technical, and finance teams.

About you

  • Degree or qualification in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business, Economics, Communications, Supply Chain, or similar (desirable).
  • Self-motivation with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexible work schedule to meet business needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced Excel skills are highly desirable).
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Dynamic, takes initiative, and is very adaptable.
  • Team player.
