Delivery Driver / Storeperson – Food Distribution (MR Licence Required)Location: NORTHAM, WA | Full-Time | Temp-Controlled Environment
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver / Storeperson to join our high-performing team. This is a hands-on role that combines multi-drop delivery driving with warehouse duties in a fast-paced, food distribution environment. If you hold a current MR licence, are physically fit, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an MR truck to deliver food products to customers (including chilled and frozen items)
- Pick and cross-check customer orders before dispatch
- Hand unload goods and handle cash payments when required
- Work in temperature-controlled environments (freezer, chiller, and dry areas)
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork, including delivery invoices and returns
- Follow all OH&S, food safety (HACCP), and cold chain requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse
- Build positive relationships with customers and represent the business professionally
- Participate in stocktakes and undertake relief driving duties as needed
- Valid MR Truck Licence (essential)
- Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
- Proven experience in refrigerated food delivery and multi-drop runs
- Strong understanding of HACCP and cold chain procedures
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting (up to 25kg, up to 1000 times per day)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Shift duration: 8–10 hours
- Average of 10–30 deliveries per day
- Regular lifting of goods ranging from 10g to 25kg
- Frequent vehicle entry and exit (up to 80 times per shift)
- Working in varying temperature zones: freezer (-25°C), chiller (4°C), and dry store (ambient)
