How you will contribute:
As the Senior Payroll Officer, the primary responsibility of this role is to ensure timely processing of payroll across Australia and New Zealand. This includes managing end to end fortnightly, monthly and off cycle pay runs. Reporting to the wider payroll team in Asia, this role will work closely with employees in both Asia and Australia.
  • End to end duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Resolve payroll queries in a timely manner;
  • Generate regular payroll related reports;
  • Interpret and apply relevant legislation, awards, and EBAs;
  • Prepare and lodge payroll tax, superannuation, and other statutory reporting;
  • Conduct payroll reconciliations and assist with audits and year-end processing;
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives; and
  • Support system enhancements.
What we’re looking for:
  • Strong demonstrated working knowledge of end to end Australian payroll;
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese (reading and speaking) is essential;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities; and
  • Customer-centric attitude, with an eagerness to contribute to the over-all success of the business.
