Location: Leichhardt , NSW
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per annum + Super
Position: Full time, Monday-Friday 7am - 3pm
Overtime: Available
Are you an experienced print production leader looking for your next opportunity? We’re seeking a Printing and Laser Plant Supervisor to take charge of daily operations, overseeing scheduling, quality control, equipment, and team performance to ensure timely, high-quality print jobs that meet client expectations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and managing daily and weekly production schedules
• Coordinating resources to ensure on-time delivery aligned with client specifications
• Overseeing all printing stages including pre-press, press, and post-press
• Ensuring proper setup and smooth operation of printing equipment
• Leading and supporting press operators, bindery staff, and production team
• Assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and delivering on-the-job training
• Resolving any printing issues
• Working with technicians for repairs and servicing tasks
• Tracking and managing stock levels paper, ink and plates
• Placing orders and liaising with procurement to avoid supply issues
• Streamlining workflows and reducing production waste

What You’ll Need:

• Experience in print production or supervisory roles within manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of digital, laser, and traditional printing processes
• Confident in managing teams and resolving workflow or quality issues
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Ability to manage inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with OH&S standards in a print or manufacturing environment
