Salary: $800 $900 per day + super (Pro Rata $160k + super)

Are you an experienced CA or CPA looking for a flexible, high-impact role in the public sector? We are currently seeking a qualified finance professional to join a part-time basis for a 2-year contract.
About the Role: This unique opportunity involves working closely with the finance team to support monthly financial reporting and year-end processes. You'll be responsible for reviewing financials, asking the right questions, and ensuring everything is ready for sign-off—playing a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review monthly financial reports prior to final sign-off
- Provide insights and challenge financial assumptions where necessary
- Assist with year-end financial statement review and ensure compliance with NSW Treasury Policy
- CA or CPA qualified
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Prior experience in the public sector is highly regarded
- Able to commit to 2 days per month over the 2-year term
