The role

We are currently looking for experienced and passionate Domestic Assistants across Kalgoorlie and surrounding areas. We have permanent part time roles available. Offering 52 hours per fortnight minimum contract. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 3:00pm. Our Domestic Assistants support clients to undertake domestic tasks in the home such as prescribed within the care/support plan enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of domestic tasks incl. making their beds, ironing, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and mopping the floor, with some social support in the community. Domestic Assistants will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential.

Servicing the following suburbs: Kalgoorlie, Kambalda and surrounds

About you
  • 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience
  • A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
  • Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
