Description:
- 12+12+12 Month Federal Government Contract
- Baseline Clearance minimum - NV1 preferred
- Canberra - City - Hybrid
These roles will be responsible for:
- Researching, analysing, evaluating and monitoring telecommunications network infrastructure to ensure networks are configured to operate at optimal performance;
- Assessing and recommending improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software and operating systems;
- Making recommendations for enhancements in the implementation of future servers and networks;
- Preparing and maintaining procedures, maintenance instructions and documentation for network inventory, and record the diagnosis and resolution of network faults, enhancements, and modifications;
- Developing and maintaining key internal and external relationships, including liaising with stakeholders on policy, project or operational issues and responding to stakeholder needs and expectations.
Skills and experience:
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels, manage key stakeholders, work with geographically dispersed teams, collaborate with technical and non-technical staff and mentor team members to promote harmony.
- Demonstrated knowledge of risk management principles and processes in context of security patch management and infrastructure management.
3. Deep understanding of cyber security principles, best practices, and frameworks relevant to Commonwealth Government organisations. - Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Networking, or relevant industry certifications.
- Experience managing and maintaining a Fortinet Security Fabric environment
- Proven experience in managing SD-WAN deployments with features such as application steering, performance SLAs, and ADVPN.
